Acts 1:8 Leadership Experience

The 1:8 leadership experience exists to prepare Kentucky BCM students through training and missions experience for a lifetime of commitment to Christ and to the Great Commission. These students will participate in an eight week experience which emphasizes discipleship, leadership development and missions. The daily schedule includes discipleship and community missions. The evenings will be filled with ministry and evangelism opportunities.

Hey Everyone, most of you know that this summer I will be serving on the Acts 1:8 team. For those of you who do not know, this is a summer missions where i will serving the Lord and will be in Louisville for training and discipleship and will be going to Romania to do Gods work there.

Hello everyone! I'm going to be going on a trip this summer called Acts 1:8 and I'd like to make you a part of it! There are 2 teams: The East Team and the West Team, and I'm on the West. I will be leaving on June 1st and will be getting back on July 27th. My trip will be in 4 locations....the first 5 days will be spent in Louisville where both teams will be together for orientation. Then my team will be flying out to Denver Colorado where my team will be staying for about 1 month. We then leave for San Francisco and we will be there for 2 weeks. After that we will head over to McDowell, Ky(Appalachia) and we'll be there for a week. The last few days will be spent back at Louisville for some debriefing. A normal day for me will consist of discipleship training during the day and local ministries during the afternoons and evenings. More details on that to come!

Now that I've given you guys a brief explanation of the trip I want to tell you how you can help me. First of all, me and my team need some mass prayer! Please pray that each member of the team would be wholey trusting in God to take care of details such as money and strength to get through each day. Also, please be praying for peoples hearts that we will be reaching out to, that they will be open to the truth of God's word. The second way that I could use your support is through giving. I need to raise a considerable amount of money in order to go on the trip and I'm in the process of doing that right now. I know God is going to provide everything I need, I just don't know how yet!
